A Hint of Gold-Spring Makeup Tutorial

A Hint of Gold-Spring Makeup Tutorial

Hey there my gorgeous beauts! Welcome to my channel if you are new! I decided to change things up again a bit and show you guys a makeup tutorial that I came up with! This one is inspired by spring of course, and is called “a hint of gold “. I am going to be incorporating a gorgeous purple shade by the lovely Modern Renaissance Palette, and add a hint of gold using my Naked Palette. This is a very easy tutorial and I wanted to pass on this look to you beauts! It obviously helps to add a purple top in with this look, just to complete it! Shall we get started?

Cleansed Face

1) First ensuring that my face is completely washed and primed! My face has been hating me recently, I usually get breakouts on my chin, if you guys have any suggestions on how to get rid of that acne let me know!

Cover them pimps!

2) Voila ! That’s a little bit better ! I did my normal everyday face routine using all of my facial makeup applicators including my lovely beauty blender! I also applied my contour and highlighter.

The Eyes

3) Going in with my beautiful Modern Renaissance Palette , I am going in with the purple shade labeled , “Buon Fresco”, and applying this all over my entire primed lid. I am dragging this colour into the crease as well just to ensure every part of my lid is covered. Applying this to my crease as well helps the colour look more blended and not so harsh.

4) I am then going in with the lovely Naked Palette and taking the shade “Halfbaked”, and applying a small dab, literally one stroke, to the middle of my lid. This helps create the spotlight effect that I discussed in my previous blog posts and looks absolutely stunning, hence the hint of gold.

5) I am then done with the eyeshadow of this look, yes it was that easy,  and now adding a winged liner and mascara.

6) Of course, I need to add some false lashes, this is optional! I absolutely love the way of false lashes complete any look and pull it all together . I also put on my favourite lipstick ever, the NYX Cosmetics Liquid Lingerie Lipstick in the shade ” Embellishment”, and applied this all over my lips. I added a few more accessories to the look as well such as a beautiful light purple satin choker.

And voila! A gorgeous purple spring look with a hint of gold, perfect for day time and night time.

On a bad day, there’s always lipstick”

Ocean Blue Makeup Tutorial

Ocean Blue Makeup Tutorial

Hey beauts, hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, or should I say, had a wonderful weekend! It has been an extremely stressful week for me, so I have not been really on the ball with blogging lately, I do apologize for that and will try to pick it up again so just bare with me here! Thanks guys! I decided to throw in a makeup tutorial for today, as I have not done one in forever and wanted to change things up a bit. My sister recently gave me this beautiful Sephora blue single eyeshadow and the first thing I thought of was, “what the hell am I supposed to do with that..?”. I never really use colours as you guys know, I mostly stick to my neutrals and away we go! I came up with this beautiful look today using this ocean blue shade, I hope you guys like it ! Again, If you guys are interested in what products I use on my face, just skip back to my previous makeup tutorial posts where I go step by step on which products I use. To same time and to not repeat myself, I decided to just show you beauts my eye makeup. Shall we get started?!

  1. First, I primed my eyes with my absolute favourite eye lid primer called the “Kat Von D High Voltage Primer”, from Sephora. I am going to have to repurchase this product as I am now running super low!

2. I am now going in with the beautiful colourful glitter blue eyeshadow I think called “Curacao Punch”, and applied this with a small eyeshadow brush all over my entire lid.

3. I am then going in with my “Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette”, and using the black for the smokey eye effect. I am applying the black to the outer V, and blending this out, slowly building up the pigmentation.

4. I then am using the same palette and taking a lighter cream shade to apply this to my inner corners of my eyes, highlighting them and making them stand out more. I am then adding some finishing touches onto my eyes such as some mascara, a winged liner, and also adding a bit of the black eyeshadow underneath my eyes.

“Home is where your makeup stash is”

I also took a nude lipstick and applied this to my lips. I thought nude would be the best shade to ensure this look is not overly dramatic and that the lips do not overpower the eyes.

“Don’t let today be a waste of makeup”

I hope you guys enjoyed this extremely short and easy makeup tutorial. This is so beautiful for a night out or if you are feeling spontaneous, you can wear this during the day as well! Be sure to follow my other social media sites located on my home page for more updates on my latest blog posts! Have a great week guys!

Blacker than Black Smokey Eye Tutorial

Blacker than Black Smokey Eye Tutorial

Good evening beauts  ,hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday night! I was looking at apartments all day long today, thinking we found the right one so fingers crossed! I was playing some old Avril Lavigne today ( the second album come on guys…unreal), and I was inspired by her to create a very...I mean very dramatic look. I absolutely love black smokey eyes, I think they are drop dead gorgeous and someone who can pull it off...props to you! I have not shown an intense black smokey eye on my channel before so I thought I would today for you guys, thanks, Avril!  I highly recommend wearing this look for night outs, as daytime looks, you might get glared at haha! I will be using my ‘Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette” for this look. Shall we rock into this?

First things first, I applied all of my face makeup already and added some tape to the corner of my eyes just to ensure I have a clean line afterwards. I am going to only use the black within the palette of course for this tutorial. This may seem like a very easy tutorial to do since I only used black, however, this was one of the more time-consuming tutorials I have ever done. This is simply because black is such a dark colour, that the fallout will be there, and the blending will be your cardio for the day….literally (bye gym). I am taking a small eyeshadow brush and applying black to the entire lid, placing a bit in the crease but not too much. I am ensuring that every piece of skin is covered on my lid. I had to build up the pigmentation a bit, so be patient! You are literally probably looking at the picture up thinking, “wow why would you post that, that looks ridiculous”. I wanted to show you guys the reality of this look. when you first start, you are not going to be red carpet ready straight away. Your lines are going to appear super harsh and that will eventually be blended nicely.

You are then going to start blending into the crease, and literally blend your life away. I am really focusing on the crease as I want this to look as subtle and flawless as opposed to harsh lines. I even am dragging the black slightly above my crease as well with my fluffy brush. I want a really dramatic smokey eye effect for this look. I then removed the tape and voila, you are literally left with clean straight lines which can outline your winged liner for you….nifty!

As you can see, I even put some of the black underneath my bottom lashes to appear more dramatic and intensify the look. I also went in with some black eyeliner and applied this to my waterline.

I then went in with some mascara and applied this to my bottom and top lashes. I also applied some black liquid liner for the winged look, and placed some false lashes on as well, obviously.

That’s it! I added a bit of some nude lipstick to stay away from overpowering the eyes, and you are left with an absolute badass sexy look for a night out!

“When I die, press my ashes into a smokey eyeshadow palette”

“Savage as F***”

I went a little camera crazy here guys I apologize, I just had to show you how badass this look turned out to be!

I hope you guys enjoyed this short and sweet intense black smokey eye tutorial! Be sure to follow my other social media accounts located on my home page to stay updated with the latest blogs! Have a great evening!

“Topaz Twinkle” Inspired Makeup Tutorial

“Topaz Twinkle” Inspired Makeup Tutorial

Hey my beauts, hope you all are having a better weekend than I am! I am sick with this damn head cold that is driving me insane, but hey…. what can you do? Just been taking a shit ton of medication and hoping for the best! Again, I was reminiscing back to my nights out and was trying to think of a makeup tutorial to do for today’s post for you guys! I believe I have mentioned one of the main products for today’s blog in one of my previous blog posts but have never done a makeup tutorial on this product to show you guys how amazing it is. So I am going to be using my favourite “Revlon Photoready EyeArt” that I purchased at Shoppers for the main look within this blog. Long story short, I was never planning on buying this product, but I am so glad that I did. I purchased this product for a New Years Look that I was going to create, as I was looking for some product with a shit ton of sparkles in it. I originally was planning on purchasing some sparkles and glue at Sephora but of course, they were completely sold out (I guess everyone wanted to do the sparkle look for New Years). So I thought, “great…now what”?! I thought might as well check what Shoppers have to offer, and to my amazement, I found this gem.  So shall we get started with this shimmery look? Oh.. and by the way… if you guys have not guessed it yet I absolutely love shimmery looks, they have always appealed to me. Okay, okay… let’s do this.

 Clean & Fresh Face

Again, using the same face products that I always use I make sure my face is fully clean and washed before applying my face makeup such as my foundation, powder, contouring and highlighting.

The Eyes

After finishing my face makeup, I then ensure my eyelids are fully primed before applying any eyeshadow. I am going in with the beautiful “Revlon Photoready Eye Art” in the shade “Topaz Twinkle (hint hint wink wink my title), and I am using the matte shimmery side as opposed to the sparkles, and I am going to apply this all over my entire lid. I do love the brush it comes with, but I also take a small eyeshadow brush and make sure it is all applied nicely, especially when it comes near the crease.

After this shade has been applied to the lids, I am going in with my Naked Palette and taking the shade “Sin” which is an absolute flawless pink highlighting shimmer and I am applying this on top of the topaz twinkle. I think this helps make the shades pop more, and really adds a lot of shimmer to it.

Next, I am still using my Naked Palette and going in with the shade “Toasted”, and applying this to the crease acting as the transition shade. I love this shade because it is the perfect pink to transition into the topaz.

I then am going to go in with the shade “Hustle” which is a brown shimmer with a slight hint of pink, and applying this to the outer V creating a slight smokey effect. I am also bringing this shade into the crease with a fluffy brush as well. I then am grabbing a small portion of black which is called “creep” in the palette and applying this to the outer V as well. You can add as much black as you wish to your desired look.

I then am going to take the shade “Hustle” again, and line underneath my bottom lashline to make my eyes “pop”. I am then going to grab the other end of my Revlon stick nd apply the sparkles to the middle of my lid very slightly and also the front of my lash line. After my eyeshadow is complete, I am going to do my finishing touches!  I am going to apply my mascara, and also go in with a black liquid eyeliner to create a winged effect. Something about wings and going out looks that you just have to do. Of course, a “going out look” is never complete without those fake lashes. I absolutely loved these.

Now that the eyes are complete, I am going to move onto the lips. Since the look consists of brown and pink shades, I am going to use my “NYX Cosmetics Lingerie” in the shade “Embellishment” and apply this all over my lips (absolutely love this shade if you have not noticed , thanks, Rachelle Howatson).

The Lips

Lastly, I, of course, need to highlight my bridge of my nose, cheekbones, chin and forehead. I am going in with the beautiful “Nicole Guerriero Palette” in the shade “Forever Lit”, and applying this to all those areas.

“When in doubt, Wing it out”

I hope you guys enjoyed this lovely “Topaz Twinkle” Look that I created for a night time look! Let me know I you guys try out this look of the “Revlon stick”, I am curious! Be sure to follow my other social media accounts on my page to stay updated! They are located on my main page!

Classic Red Lip with Smokey Eye Tutorial

Classic Red Lip with Smokey Eye Tutorial

Happy Monday beauts! I hope you all are having a great week so far even though it’s Monday and everyone dreads it ! Mondays always seem so long to me , I hate it . But then when I get home it’s so wonderful and relaxing I love it . I also love getting inspired throughout the day for blog posts . No I have not sat down and actually thought ” lyss …. what days are going to be your blog days ?“. As opposed to literally whenever I feel like it ha ha ! Don’t worry beauts , I will establish a schedule sooner or later and make that commitment. As for right now it’s whenever I get inspired. I thought of this blog post today and literally thought to myself ” I have never posted my red lip and smokey eye look!“. I wear this look sometimes when I go out and I absolutely love it , I think this look is super easy to recreate the only challenging part is playing around with the black, as it is extremely messy and sometimes hard to blend . You can also wear this look for daytime and night time as well ! I would maybe for daytime use a little less black and maybe take out the fake lashes. So, shall we do this or what ?!

First , I am going to put tape along the outer corners of my eyes since we are working with black today . I am then going to go in with my Naked Palette and apply “Virgin“, all over my entire lid. I chose to do a very gentle and subtle colour to compliment the black nicely . I then also went in with my Naked 3 Palette and applied “Strange” overtop of Virgin just to stand out more and make my eyes pop .

Next , I am going to go in with the fun part, the black! I am going to take the Naked Palete and go in with “Creep“, which is a shimmery black and apply this to the outer V of my lids. I am going to slowly build up the colour to my desired look. I decided to build it up quite a bit to create a more dramatic look. I made sure to keep blending out the black thoroughly to avoid any harsh pigmentation.  It was hard for me to blend out the black considering I hardly wear this colour as a smokey look , but I managed !

I then went in and applied creep underneath my lower lash line to add more depth to my eyes. I also went in with my black liquid liner and applied this to my lid creating a winged effect. I then applied my mascara to my top and bottom lashes.

Now time for the finishing touches! I took my favourite red lipstick by Kate in the shade “110” I believe and applied this to my lips. I love this shade because it has a hint of orange in it so it’s absolutely beautiful. You can pretty much use your favourite red lipstick for this! I also went in with some false lashes of course, and some black eyeliner to line my water line.

“…life is short, your lashes shouldn’t be”

I hope you beauts enjoyed this super classy red lip with a smokey eye look! I really loved how this turned out and I personally think this looks so elegant and sexy! Let me know what you guys think! Be sure to follow my other social media accounts located on my home page for the latest updates !

“A Pop of Colour”- Spring Time Look

“A Pop of Colour”- Spring Time Look

Happy Saturday beauts! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, spring time is here and I literally could not be in a better mood. I absolutely love spring time and already created one spring time makeup look for you beauts. I literally think the more looks the better when it comes to spring, there are so many different looks you can create, I literally get way too stoked for life when it comes to eyeshadow. I came up with this look yesterday, and thought “hey I really like this look, I think I’ll make a blog on it”. So here we are! I absolutely love how subtle this look came out. It is super classy with a pop of coral colour for the lips, so stunning. I don’t know what it is about coral colours, but I absolutely adore them, the colour is flawless. So again, I did not include a full face tutorial, as mentioned before, I particularly use the same products a lot of the time, so did not want to be repeating myself for the 100th time. Shall we get into it?

First, I went in using my Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette, of course, obsessed right now, and applied this beautiful gold shimmer to my entire lid. Yes, I like to mix up the order sometimes when it comes to my crease and lid. Somedays I like to apply my crease last or first, depends on my mood that day and what I think would be easier for me.

I then went in with this light pinky shade and applied this to my crease with a fluffy brush.

(very subtle look right now, and looks so gentle which I adore)

I then am going to go in with this darker pink/orange shade, and apply a small amount underneath my lower lash line to add a pop of colour to my eyes. I then made sure this was blended thoroughly and even smudged it.

I then went in with this light cream shade, and applied this to the inner corners of my eyes to make them appear brighter.

After the shadow, I applied some liquid eyeliner on top of my upper lashes, and also applied my favourite mascara! I did not create a winged effect for this look because I did not want it to be too dramatic, but feel free to add one! After my mascara had dried, I applied some false lashes that I purchased from Shoppers, believe these were called “flirty”.

Lastly, I applied some of my favourite coral lipstick by Katy Perry Covergirl in the shade, “Coral Cat”. This shade is absolutely stunning and I love it because it was so cheap, I am pretty sure under $10.00 which was a steal for how pigmented it is.

And Voila! A super subtle spring makeup look with a gorgeous pop of colour!

“Too glam to give a damn”

I hope you beauts enjoyed this makeup look tutorial! I absolutely loved how this turned out and how beautiful is it! Be sure to subscribe and check out my other social media sites to stay updated, I post weekly!

Soft Brown/Pink Smokey Eyes; Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette Tutorial

Soft Brown/Pink Smokey Eyes; Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette Tutorial

Good evening beauts! Here with another makeup tutorial on the stunning Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette. I am going to keep this one short and sweet for you beauts, so shall we get right into it?

First, I already applied my full face such as foundation, brows, powder, highlighting and contouring. I always love applying my face makeup first before doing my eyes. I don’t know why, is anyone else with me on that one?! I then am grabbing my Morphe Palette, and am going in with this beautiful light light pink shade. I am using a fluffy brush and applying this in the crease as well as slightly above it. I also am using some tape for the eyes. I want to have a very clean line after applying my shades so I simply applied tape to the outer corners of my eyes.

Next, I went in with the darker pink shade that was beside the previous shade and applied this within the crease only while using my fluffy brush. I made sure I kept it only in this area, and blended it out quite nicely.

Next, I went in with this beautiful browny-pink shade and applied this to the entire lid. After applying this shade, I made sure it was blended quite nicely and a nice transition was made from the lid to the crease. Since this is a darker shade, you want to make sure there are no harsh lines.

After applying that shade, I am taking this dark brown and applying it to the outer V of my eyes. This is going to create depth and definition to the eyes. I also removed the tape after this step. Voila, nice and clean and hardly any fallout whatsoever.

After applying the shadow, I then went in with my trusty and fantastic new mascara by L’Oreal and applied this to the top and bottom lashes. I also added a winged liner and applied the dark brown shade that we used for the outer V, underneath my lower lashes.  I then did some last minute touches such as applying some lipstick and highlighter. I decided to give this new highlighter a go and it is the Clinique Chubby Stick from Sephora. I did like this highlighter a lot, and it was very easy to use which was great! For my lips, I used the Maybelline Colour Jolt Intense Lip Paint in the shade “Stripped Down”. I absolutely love these lip paints, they are so moisturizing and my lips feel phenom.

I also went in with this light cream shimmer in the Morphe Palette and applied this to the inner corners of my eyes just to brighten them up!

I hope you guys enjoyed this makeup tutorial on another look for the Morphe 350 Palette! I have honestly too much fun experimenting with colours and shades! You guys know the drill, be sure to check out my other social media accounts to stay updated!

Sunset Eyes/ Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette

Sunset Eyes/ Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette

Happy Tuesday my beauts! I hope your week is going good for yous! Mine seems to be unfortunately going by slow, but you know what that means right? That means go out and by a new palette to recreate different looks! I was recommended by “LaurensLipGlossary” to try out the Morphe 350 Palette! If you have not checked out her blogging channel already please be sure to do so, you’re missing out! Her channel is amazing and she’s such a sweetheart! Anyways, I am so glad that I listened to her and finally got my hands on this palette. It is amazing. The pigmentation is unreal, and honestly, I am so glad I purchased this. I purchased this for around $45.00 which is insane for how amazing it is.  I am so used to paying around $60.00 for palettes these days.  It was a very hard choice deciding whether to purchase the matte palette, or the shimmer palette. I decided to try the shimmer palette, personally because I absolutely love shimmers altogether. I was playing around with the shades and came up with this beautiful “sunset” look. Let me know what you guys think!

I first took this beautiful light orange shade, and placed it within my crease with my fluffy brush. This is going to act as you subtle transitioning shade.

I then went in with this reddish shade and applied this to the whole entire lid. I thought this colour was absolutely stunning, and thought it would look perfect for this look. This shade is not too dramatic either which was great. After applying this to my lid I went in with the shade beside it, a very shimmery red/maroon and applied this to the outer V to create a smokey eye. I was so drawn to this colour as it literally is the sparkliest shade in the whole palette. love it. I also applied this shade underneath my bottom lash line to add a more dramatic effect.

I then went in with this light orange shade and applied this to the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up and make them stand out.

I next went in with this amazing mascara that I just tried out today and I honestly think it puts L’Oreal Telescopic to shame. Did I actually just say that?! It must be great then! I loved how this mascara had a primer on one side and then the actual mascara on the other end. The primer really did help a ton when enhancing and lengthening my lashes.

After applying my mascara, I then went in with some black eyeliner, and applied this to my water line, as well as my top lash line.  I then added a winged liner to the top of my lashes! I was honestly debating forever what lipstick to use, because I did not want something too overly dramatic with this look, especially with dramatic eyes. I thought this beautiful purple lipstick by NYX Cosmetics would look fantastic.  It is the NYX Cosmetics Lingerie in the shade 02. This really pulled the look together. I think this look would be great for spring time!

(some looks I tried without the winged liner and some with just to show you guys the different looks you can create!)

(Yes I did not include false lashes for this tutorial because honestly, the mascara was enough!)

I hope you beauts enjoyed this look! Let me know if you would like some more tutorials on the Morphe 350 Palette, I would be more than happy to do more! Be sure to follow my blogging channel for more blogs in the near future as well as my other social media accounts!

Empties/New Beauty Products; March

Empties/New Beauty Products; March

Processed with MOLDIV

Happy sunday beauts! I hope you guys are all having a wonderful weekend so far! My weekend has been great which always puts me in a good mood! I decided to write today’s post on new beauty products that I have purchased for the month of March and instead of making another blog, I decided to mention some empties that I will be repurchasing as well. I always always love reading these kinds of blog posts, I think they are so informative which is awesome, so I thought, “why not do it for you beauts!“, let’s get into it!

New Beauty Products

I am going to mention some of the newer products that I purchased this month. I did not really buy too many products because to be honest, nothing really caught my eye that much. However, the couple products that I purchased I am super happy about and thought I would share with you guys. The first is the picture located at the top. I purchased the new “Cupcake” face mask from Lush. This face mask smells unreal and is to be kept in the fridge. I tend to have combination skin, so I find that this face mask works perfectly when I do have oily skin. I really love how this face mask has ingredients to calm redness, cool those troubled areas, and to deeply cleanse your skin. I really do love this mask and highly recommend trying it out for yourself. I purchased it at Lush for around $11.00.

image4 (14)

The second product that I have for you guys is… you guessed it…. the Nicole Guerriero Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I purchased this at Sephora for around $52.00, and highly highly recommend trying it out for yourself. I have been constantly using the same highlighter since forever, it is the Laura Mercier Highlighter and I usually always mention it within my makeup tutorials. I was hesitant to try a new highlighter but can honestly say I am glad that I did! I absolutely love the variety of shades this palette comes with. You get pink shades, coral shades, champagne shades, platinum shades, and brown shades. I focus the brown shades more on contouring and bronzing areas simply because they are a bit darker for a highlighter. I usually go in with my regular bronzer then apply the shimmery Nicole bronzer on top and it looks absolutely flawless.  You can play around with the shades when it comes to different looks as opposed to just using one highlighter.

image1 (43)

(Yes I already got the top of it covered in foundation… leave it up to me)

image2 (32)

Hands down I would have to say this is my favourite eyeshadow palette at the moment, it is the Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I was recommended by a friend to try this out and I have to say, it is absolutely flawless. The amount of looks you can create is insane, and there is literally a look with everything. I love how this palette pushed me out of my comfort zone and got me to experiment with new shades and colours. I now wear oranges and purples to work which I never would have done. The colours are extremely pigmented which is wonderful and you can make the looks as subtle or dramatic as you wish. I purchased this at Sephora for $55.00 and highly recommend giving this baby a try!

image2 (33)

So I literally just bought another beauty blender today at Sephora for around $28.00. If you would have told me years ago to go out and purchase this sponge I would have told you that you are out of your mind and I am not purchasing a sponge for $30.00. Guys, I can not live without this now. I have had my old beauty blender for a couple of years now but it was looking pretty beat up not going to lie. I had the black beauty blender but decided to get the pink one just to change things up a bit. I always use my beauty blender when applying my foundation to my face, my concealer and so forth. Even if I am baking, I will use my damp beauty blender to apply the powder under my eyes (works unreal). I for sure think this is my ride or die, I don’t know how I lived without this. If you are hesitant to spend the money on a sponge trust me, it will change your life.

image3 (23)

I just recently finished this product and will for sure be buying another one. I loved using my Mac Studio Fix Powder when setting my foundation. This was around $33.00 at the Mac store, but highly worth it in my opinion. I love a powder that is full coverage, just incase I do not feel like wearing foundation a certain day, I can use my powder instead and be ready to go. I love the full coverage and it does not feel heavy on my face at all.

image2 (34)

I absolutely love my L’oreal Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black. I purchased this at Shoppers for around $15.00 but it literally makes my lashes look unreal. I love mascaras where you can actually notice you are wearing mascara, and I love ones that make your lashes look super long. I have naturally long lashes so when this product is applied…wow. I absolutely hands down love this drugstore mascara.

image1 (45)

This is hands down my absolute favourite eyelid primer. I have been using this for years now and it has not let me down. It is a yellow shade which makes your eyeshadow just pop and stand out a whole lot better. This is the Kat Von D High Voltage Eye Primer, and I purchased it at Sephora for I believe it was around $22.00. I highly recommend trying this out for yourself if you are looking for a good quality eye shadow primer.

image4 (13)

I absolutely love love love this foundation! It is the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation in the shade 2.0.  I bought this a little while ago and it really has lasted me a long time! I usually only wear this foundation on nights out or when I have a long day ahead of me. This is not an everyday foundation simply because it is so heavy duty. I always make sure after wearing this for a night out, I treat my skin after with a nice mask, just to let it breathe . I bought this from Sephora for around $50.00, but highly worth it.

image3 (25)

Yes, this product looks beat up to shit I am aware. But hey, it got some great use out of it! This is the NYX Cosmetics Eyeshadow in the shade Taupe. I think this eyeshadow was under $10.00 which was awesome. I actually use this shadow for filling in the beginning of my brows for the gradient effect. This colour works beautifully and can be used in so many different ways. This is an amazing transitioning colour as well, and is very pigmented.

I hope you beauts enjoyed this quick post on different beauty products that I purchased and products that I will be repurchasing as well. Let me know if you guys have tried any of these products before! I hope you guys have a wonderful week, be sure to subscribe and follow my social media pages:

Brown Ombre Effect Makeup Look

Brown Ombre Effect Makeup Look

Processed with MOLDIV

Happy Tuesday Beauts, hopefully, today flies by! I am actually hoping this week flies by as well, that would be absolutely wonderful! I decided to do another blog post today on another makeup tutorial. I feel a lot of my viewers enjoy these blog posts and I am more than happy to do them!I have been obviously experimenting with the “Modern Renaissance Palette” and have created multiple looks based off this palette. This one today I wanted to call the “Brown Ombre Effect Makeup look” simply because there are different shades of brown that create a fading effect.  I would classify this look as more under the night time looks category simply because it is more dramatic and a bit on the darker side for a day time look. Again, I did not include my full face tutorial because it has been the same routine for a while now. It is however like I mentioned before, in previous blog posts. Shall we get started?

  1. First I started right away with my brows. Sometimes I like to switch it up a bit and do my brows first and then work away at my face makeup application.

2. I then jumped right away into my face makeup, such as my foundation, highligher and contour. Look at them cheek bones honey! (The power of contouring).

3. I then went in with the first shade from the palette and applied, “Burnt Orange”, just above my crease . This is going to act as a subtle transition shade.

4. Next, I applied the shade, “Realgar”, and applied this overtop of that transition shade, just to create a more darker effect.

4. I then went in with the shade, “Cyprus Umber”, and applied this into the crease with a fluffy brush. I was very disappointed how hard this was to blend out. It took forever for it to not look so harsh, next time I will not grab so much and just work with small bits at a time.

5. I then went in with the shade, “Red Oche”( beautiful), and applied this with a small eyeshadow brush all across my lid.

6. Lastly, I went in with the shade, “Primavera” and applied this to the inner corner of my lid, making my eyes “pop”. I went back in with the shade “Cyprus Umber”, and applied this underneath my lower lashes.  I then applied some mascara and added in some false lashes. Also to top off the look, added on some nude lipstick just so the lips would not over power the eyes!
