Autumn Evening Makeup Tutorial

Autumn Evening Makeup Tutorial

Good morning my lovely beauts ! I hope you all have a fantastic Monday today ! I know I am going to try to even though I have class from 8-6 today … fml majorly. Hey that’s school though what can you do! So today’s makeup tutorial is going to be a step right after my copper makeup look! So if you haven’t checked out my last makeup tutorial, check out that one cause after your finished look from that one, you are going to do a couple more steps to achieve this beautiful copper evening makeup look for today! I love experimenting with fall colours and came up with this gorgeous look for autumn! Let’s get started!

So the finished look from the copper tutorial looked something like this!

You are then going to take that same Morphe 350 shimmer palette and go in with this stunning dark brown shade. I am applying this over top of my copper shade, focusing on the outer corners of my eyes and dragging this colour into the crease as well. Since it is a dark colour , you want to ensure that you blend it well and be patient with it!

I then am grabbing this same colour and putting a little bit underneath my lower lash line, just to make my eyes pop! I grabbed my NYX Cosmetics liquid lip lingerie in the shade Embellishment and applied this to my lips. I added some fake lashes to create a more dramatic autumn look and voila! You are done!

“On a bad day, there’s always lipstick”

I hope you beauts enjoyed this continuation of my last makeup look! This is perfect for date night or a night out! Be sure to follow my other social media accounts located on my home page! Happy Monday!

Everyday Fall Copper Makeup Tutorial

Everyday Fall Copper Makeup Tutorial

Hey, my beauts ! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I knew mine flew by which was crazy ! But I had a great time ! Was wondering what to do this Sunday and I thought why not capture the fall copper makeup look I promised you guys on insta ! If you are not following me on insta yet be sure to do so, thatothertwin_xo. I am going to be using my lovely and beautiful morphe 350 shimmer palette for this look ! Literally bought it in the mall for $40.00, which was fantastic! I haven’t used it in a while but the colours are fantastic for fall so I might as well take it out and play around with it! Shall we begin ?!

I first am taking this beautiful white shimmer from the palette and applying this to my inner corners of my lids. I love how pigmented each of the shades are!

Next, I am going in with this gorgeous copper shade and applying this to the other half of my lid from the middle and carrying it to the outside of my lid. I am ensuring that I am also blending this in my crease with a fluffy brush.

I am then taking this slightly darker copper shade and applying this into my crease as well! This is a beautiful transition shade that looks absolutely stunning with this look! I applied a tiny bit of this shade underneath my lower lash line as well. I then am going in with my black liquid liner and applying this to the top of my lash line, also going in with my mascara as well. I applied a nude shade to my lips to create a more everyday look that’s gentle for fall! And voila!

“She has fire in her soul & a killer set of brows “

Fall Makeup Tutorial

Fall Makeup Tutorial

Let the grunge begin! Hello my beauts , welcome to my Channel if you are new ! My names Alyssa and one of my hobbies are doing makeup and sharing my ideas with you beauts !  My favourite season is fall mostly because I love pumpkin flavoured anything really! I’m that “ basic bitch” as some may call it, but I don’t mind one bit.  I am going to be using my Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills for this look, and let me just say, it is is super easy to achieve.  Let’s get started!

First and for most, I ensure that I have a nice clean face before applying all my face makeup such as my foundation, powder and so forth.

I am then taking the shade, “Antique Bronze” and applying this all over my lid with a small eyeshadow brush, and blending this shade out into my crease as well using a fluffy brush. This is a very pigmented shade, so be sure to blend thoroughly and have a lot of patience.

Yes, you are going to look a bit like a racoon here but I promise you, the finishing look will be worth it! Next, I am going in with the shade “Burnt Orange” and applying this to my crease as well as underneath my lower lash line.  Then I am going to apply some black liquid liner to my lids, and apply a tiny bit of mascara to my top and bottom lashes. I then applied some false lashes, and voila! Your eyes are ready for that fall weather! I absolutely love this grunge look and it’s perfectly acceptable for this kind of weather. I also applied the shade “Velvet Teddy” onto my lips to tie the look in altogether.

“And all at once, Summer collapsed into Fall…”

I hope you beauts enjoyed this fall makeup look that I have created and try it out for yourselves. Be sure to follow my other social media accounts located on my home page for more blog posts to come in the near future, take care!

Subtle Purple/Pink Smokey Eye

Subtle Purple/Pink Smokey Eye

Hey beauts , I hope you guys all had a fabulous Thursday! Just think … tomorrow is Friday! Thank God , and no more classes for me just placement on Monday ahh!! I decided to do this blog post today on a nice subtle purple/pink smokey eye that I came up with using my naked 3 palette, which is an absolutely stunning palette that I will always LOVE.

So shall we jump right into it or what ? You can honestly wear this look for daytime or night time I would just highly recommend for daytime , using less of the shade ” Blackheart”.

So first things first I am going to start off with a fresh face , right away I went in and applied my foundation , powder and all that jazz. I skipped adding this in the tutorial as stated previously in my other posts , I usually stick to the same full face routine , so go ahead and check I out in my other blog posts !

I already went in and applied my eyebrows as well , and also an eyelid primer before moving onto the eyes!

The Eyes

So right away I am going to grab my Nakes 3 palette which has all these gorgeous pink shades and apply “Mooner” within the crease with a fluffy brush . I am going to ensure that this is all blended out nicely and that there are no harsh lines !

After applying this medium shade within the crease, I am going to take the shade “Strange” and apply this to the inner corners of my eyes. This is going to help brighten up your eyes! Next, I am going to take the shade “Buzz” and apply this to the middle of my lid. This is a beautiful soft sparkly pink which I adore, and it really gives off the gentle look.

After applying this subtle shade to the centre of my lid, I am going to take the shade ” Blackheart“, and applying this to the outer corner of my eyes, the outer V. This is going to create that beautiful smokey eye look, adding a hint of purple to the lids. I added a bit more of this pigmentation to create more of a dramatic look but you can go how dramatic you wish!

I then went in and applied some mascara, added in some false lashes and some stunning purple lipstick to complete the look!

And voila! You are ready for that hot date or a day out in the sun! You choose!

I could stop buying makeup… but I’m not a quitter”

A Hint of Gold-Spring Makeup Tutorial

A Hint of Gold-Spring Makeup Tutorial

Hey there my gorgeous beauts! Welcome to my channel if you are new! I decided to change things up again a bit and show you guys a makeup tutorial that I came up with! This one is inspired by spring of course, and is called “a hint of gold “. I am going to be incorporating a gorgeous purple shade by the lovely Modern Renaissance Palette, and add a hint of gold using my Naked Palette. This is a very easy tutorial and I wanted to pass on this look to you beauts! It obviously helps to add a purple top in with this look, just to complete it! Shall we get started?

Cleansed Face

1) First ensuring that my face is completely washed and primed! My face has been hating me recently, I usually get breakouts on my chin, if you guys have any suggestions on how to get rid of that acne let me know!

Cover them pimps!

2) Voila ! That’s a little bit better ! I did my normal everyday face routine using all of my facial makeup applicators including my lovely beauty blender! I also applied my contour and highlighter.

The Eyes

3) Going in with my beautiful Modern Renaissance Palette , I am going in with the purple shade labeled , “Buon Fresco”, and applying this all over my entire primed lid. I am dragging this colour into the crease as well just to ensure every part of my lid is covered. Applying this to my crease as well helps the colour look more blended and not so harsh.

4) I am then going in with the lovely Naked Palette and taking the shade “Halfbaked”, and applying a small dab, literally one stroke, to the middle of my lid. This helps create the spotlight effect that I discussed in my previous blog posts and looks absolutely stunning, hence the hint of gold.

5) I am then done with the eyeshadow of this look, yes it was that easy,  and now adding a winged liner and mascara.

6) Of course, I need to add some false lashes, this is optional! I absolutely love the way of false lashes complete any look and pull it all together . I also put on my favourite lipstick ever, the NYX Cosmetics Liquid Lingerie Lipstick in the shade ” Embellishment”, and applied this all over my lips. I added a few more accessories to the look as well such as a beautiful light purple satin choker.

And voila! A gorgeous purple spring look with a hint of gold, perfect for day time and night time.

On a bad day, there’s always lipstick”

Blacker than Black Smokey Eye Tutorial

Blacker than Black Smokey Eye Tutorial

Good evening beauts  ,hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday night! I was looking at apartments all day long today, thinking we found the right one so fingers crossed! I was playing some old Avril Lavigne today ( the second album come on guys…unreal), and I was inspired by her to create a very...I mean very dramatic look. I absolutely love black smokey eyes, I think they are drop dead gorgeous and someone who can pull it off...props to you! I have not shown an intense black smokey eye on my channel before so I thought I would today for you guys, thanks, Avril!  I highly recommend wearing this look for night outs, as daytime looks, you might get glared at haha! I will be using my ‘Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette” for this look. Shall we rock into this?

First things first, I applied all of my face makeup already and added some tape to the corner of my eyes just to ensure I have a clean line afterwards. I am going to only use the black within the palette of course for this tutorial. This may seem like a very easy tutorial to do since I only used black, however, this was one of the more time-consuming tutorials I have ever done. This is simply because black is such a dark colour, that the fallout will be there, and the blending will be your cardio for the day….literally (bye gym). I am taking a small eyeshadow brush and applying black to the entire lid, placing a bit in the crease but not too much. I am ensuring that every piece of skin is covered on my lid. I had to build up the pigmentation a bit, so be patient! You are literally probably looking at the picture up thinking, “wow why would you post that, that looks ridiculous”. I wanted to show you guys the reality of this look. when you first start, you are not going to be red carpet ready straight away. Your lines are going to appear super harsh and that will eventually be blended nicely.

You are then going to start blending into the crease, and literally blend your life away. I am really focusing on the crease as I want this to look as subtle and flawless as opposed to harsh lines. I even am dragging the black slightly above my crease as well with my fluffy brush. I want a really dramatic smokey eye effect for this look. I then removed the tape and voila, you are literally left with clean straight lines which can outline your winged liner for you….nifty!

As you can see, I even put some of the black underneath my bottom lashes to appear more dramatic and intensify the look. I also went in with some black eyeliner and applied this to my waterline.

I then went in with some mascara and applied this to my bottom and top lashes. I also applied some black liquid liner for the winged look, and placed some false lashes on as well, obviously.

That’s it! I added a bit of some nude lipstick to stay away from overpowering the eyes, and you are left with an absolute badass sexy look for a night out!

“When I die, press my ashes into a smokey eyeshadow palette”

“Savage as F***”

I went a little camera crazy here guys I apologize, I just had to show you how badass this look turned out to be!

I hope you guys enjoyed this short and sweet intense black smokey eye tutorial! Be sure to follow my other social media accounts located on my home page to stay updated with the latest blogs! Have a great evening!

“A Pop of Colour”- Spring Time Look

“A Pop of Colour”- Spring Time Look

Happy Saturday beauts! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, spring time is here and I literally could not be in a better mood. I absolutely love spring time and already created one spring time makeup look for you beauts. I literally think the more looks the better when it comes to spring, there are so many different looks you can create, I literally get way too stoked for life when it comes to eyeshadow. I came up with this look yesterday, and thought “hey I really like this look, I think I’ll make a blog on it”. So here we are! I absolutely love how subtle this look came out. It is super classy with a pop of coral colour for the lips, so stunning. I don’t know what it is about coral colours, but I absolutely adore them, the colour is flawless. So again, I did not include a full face tutorial, as mentioned before, I particularly use the same products a lot of the time, so did not want to be repeating myself for the 100th time. Shall we get into it?

First, I went in using my Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette, of course, obsessed right now, and applied this beautiful gold shimmer to my entire lid. Yes, I like to mix up the order sometimes when it comes to my crease and lid. Somedays I like to apply my crease last or first, depends on my mood that day and what I think would be easier for me.

I then went in with this light pinky shade and applied this to my crease with a fluffy brush.

(very subtle look right now, and looks so gentle which I adore)

I then am going to go in with this darker pink/orange shade, and apply a small amount underneath my lower lash line to add a pop of colour to my eyes. I then made sure this was blended thoroughly and even smudged it.

I then went in with this light cream shade, and applied this to the inner corners of my eyes to make them appear brighter.

After the shadow, I applied some liquid eyeliner on top of my upper lashes, and also applied my favourite mascara! I did not create a winged effect for this look because I did not want it to be too dramatic, but feel free to add one! After my mascara had dried, I applied some false lashes that I purchased from Shoppers, believe these were called “flirty”.

Lastly, I applied some of my favourite coral lipstick by Katy Perry Covergirl in the shade, “Coral Cat”. This shade is absolutely stunning and I love it because it was so cheap, I am pretty sure under $10.00 which was a steal for how pigmented it is.

And Voila! A super subtle spring makeup look with a gorgeous pop of colour!

“Too glam to give a damn”

I hope you beauts enjoyed this makeup look tutorial! I absolutely loved how this turned out and how beautiful is it! Be sure to subscribe and check out my other social media sites to stay updated, I post weekly!

Soft Brown/Pink Smokey Eyes; Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette Tutorial

Soft Brown/Pink Smokey Eyes; Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette Tutorial

Good evening beauts! Here with another makeup tutorial on the stunning Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette. I am going to keep this one short and sweet for you beauts, so shall we get right into it?

First, I already applied my full face such as foundation, brows, powder, highlighting and contouring. I always love applying my face makeup first before doing my eyes. I don’t know why, is anyone else with me on that one?! I then am grabbing my Morphe Palette, and am going in with this beautiful light light pink shade. I am using a fluffy brush and applying this in the crease as well as slightly above it. I also am using some tape for the eyes. I want to have a very clean line after applying my shades so I simply applied tape to the outer corners of my eyes.

Next, I went in with the darker pink shade that was beside the previous shade and applied this within the crease only while using my fluffy brush. I made sure I kept it only in this area, and blended it out quite nicely.

Next, I went in with this beautiful browny-pink shade and applied this to the entire lid. After applying this shade, I made sure it was blended quite nicely and a nice transition was made from the lid to the crease. Since this is a darker shade, you want to make sure there are no harsh lines.

After applying that shade, I am taking this dark brown and applying it to the outer V of my eyes. This is going to create depth and definition to the eyes. I also removed the tape after this step. Voila, nice and clean and hardly any fallout whatsoever.

After applying the shadow, I then went in with my trusty and fantastic new mascara by L’Oreal and applied this to the top and bottom lashes. I also added a winged liner and applied the dark brown shade that we used for the outer V, underneath my lower lashes.  I then did some last minute touches such as applying some lipstick and highlighter. I decided to give this new highlighter a go and it is the Clinique Chubby Stick from Sephora. I did like this highlighter a lot, and it was very easy to use which was great! For my lips, I used the Maybelline Colour Jolt Intense Lip Paint in the shade “Stripped Down”. I absolutely love these lip paints, they are so moisturizing and my lips feel phenom.

I also went in with this light cream shimmer in the Morphe Palette and applied this to the inner corners of my eyes just to brighten them up!

I hope you guys enjoyed this makeup tutorial on another look for the Morphe 350 Palette! I have honestly too much fun experimenting with colours and shades! You guys know the drill, be sure to check out my other social media accounts to stay updated!

Sunset Eyes/ Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette

Sunset Eyes/ Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette

Happy Tuesday my beauts! I hope your week is going good for yous! Mine seems to be unfortunately going by slow, but you know what that means right? That means go out and by a new palette to recreate different looks! I was recommended by “LaurensLipGlossary” to try out the Morphe 350 Palette! If you have not checked out her blogging channel already please be sure to do so, you’re missing out! Her channel is amazing and she’s such a sweetheart! Anyways, I am so glad that I listened to her and finally got my hands on this palette. It is amazing. The pigmentation is unreal, and honestly, I am so glad I purchased this. I purchased this for around $45.00 which is insane for how amazing it is.  I am so used to paying around $60.00 for palettes these days.  It was a very hard choice deciding whether to purchase the matte palette, or the shimmer palette. I decided to try the shimmer palette, personally because I absolutely love shimmers altogether. I was playing around with the shades and came up with this beautiful “sunset” look. Let me know what you guys think!

I first took this beautiful light orange shade, and placed it within my crease with my fluffy brush. This is going to act as you subtle transitioning shade.

I then went in with this reddish shade and applied this to the whole entire lid. I thought this colour was absolutely stunning, and thought it would look perfect for this look. This shade is not too dramatic either which was great. After applying this to my lid I went in with the shade beside it, a very shimmery red/maroon and applied this to the outer V to create a smokey eye. I was so drawn to this colour as it literally is the sparkliest shade in the whole palette. love it. I also applied this shade underneath my bottom lash line to add a more dramatic effect.

I then went in with this light orange shade and applied this to the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up and make them stand out.

I next went in with this amazing mascara that I just tried out today and I honestly think it puts L’Oreal Telescopic to shame. Did I actually just say that?! It must be great then! I loved how this mascara had a primer on one side and then the actual mascara on the other end. The primer really did help a ton when enhancing and lengthening my lashes.

img_3012

After applying my mascara, I then went in with some black eyeliner, and applied this to my water line, as well as my top lash line.  I then added a winged liner to the top of my lashes! I was honestly debating forever what lipstick to use, because I did not want something too overly dramatic with this look, especially with dramatic eyes. I thought this beautiful purple lipstick by NYX Cosmetics would look fantastic.  It is the NYX Cosmetics Lingerie in the shade 02. This really pulled the look together. I think this look would be great for spring time!

img_3019

(some looks I tried without the winged liner and some with just to show you guys the different looks you can create!)

(Yes I did not include false lashes for this tutorial because honestly, the mascara was enough!)

I hope you beauts enjoyed this look! Let me know if you would like some more tutorials on the Morphe 350 Palette, I would be more than happy to do more! Be sure to follow my blogging channel for more blogs in the near future as well as my other social media accounts!

Brown Ombre Effect Makeup Look

Brown Ombre Effect Makeup Look

Processed with MOLDIV

Happy Tuesday Beauts, hopefully, today flies by! I am actually hoping this week flies by as well, that would be absolutely wonderful! I decided to do another blog post today on another makeup tutorial. I feel a lot of my viewers enjoy these blog posts and I am more than happy to do them!I have been obviously experimenting with the “Modern Renaissance Palette” and have created multiple looks based off this palette. This one today I wanted to call the “Brown Ombre Effect Makeup look” simply because there are different shades of brown that create a fading effect.  I would classify this look as more under the night time looks category simply because it is more dramatic and a bit on the darker side for a day time look. Again, I did not include my full face tutorial because it has been the same routine for a while now. It is however like I mentioned before, in previous blog posts. Shall we get started?

  1. First I started right away with my brows. Sometimes I like to switch it up a bit and do my brows first and then work away at my face makeup application.

2. I then jumped right away into my face makeup, such as my foundation, highligher and contour. Look at them cheek bones honey! (The power of contouring).

3. I then went in with the first shade from the palette and applied, “Burnt Orange”, just above my crease . This is going to act as a subtle transition shade.

image1 (46)

4. Next, I applied the shade, “Realgar”, and applied this overtop of that transition shade, just to create a more darker effect.

4. I then went in with the shade, “Cyprus Umber”, and applied this into the crease with a fluffy brush. I was very disappointed how hard this was to blend out. It took forever for it to not look so harsh, next time I will not grab so much and just work with small bits at a time.

5. I then went in with the shade, “Red Oche”( beautiful), and applied this with a small eyeshadow brush all across my lid.

6. Lastly, I went in with the shade, “Primavera” and applied this to the inner corner of my lid, making my eyes “pop”. I went back in with the shade “Cyprus Umber”, and applied this underneath my lower lashes.  I then applied some mascara and added in some false lashes. Also to top off the look, added on some nude lipstick just so the lips would not over power the eyes!

I hope you beauts enjoyed this night out look! Thanks for taking the time to read! Be sure to subscribe to my channel to see the latest blog posts! Also be sure to follow my other social media accounts:
