Autumn Evening Makeup Tutorialย

Autumn Evening Makeup Tutorialย

Good morning my lovely beauts ! I hope you all have a fantastic Monday today ! I know I am going to try to even though I have class from 8-6 today … fml majorly. Hey that’s school though what can you do! So today’s makeup tutorial is going to be a step right after my copper makeup look! So if you haven’t checked out my last makeup tutorial, check out that one cause after your finished look from that one, you are going to do a couple more steps to achieve this beautiful copper evening makeup look for today! I love experimenting with fall colours and came up with this gorgeous look for autumn! Let’s get started!

So the finished look from the copper tutorial looked something like this!

You are then going to take that same Morphe 350 shimmer palette and go in with this stunning dark brown shade. I am applying this over top of my copper shade, focusing on the outer corners of my eyes and dragging this colour into the crease as well. Since it is a dark colour , you want to ensure that you blend it well and be patient with it!

I then am grabbing this same colour and putting a little bit underneath my lower lash line, just to make my eyes pop! I grabbed my NYX Cosmetics liquid lip lingerie in the shade Embellishment and applied this to my lips. I added some fake lashes to create a more dramatic autumn look and voila! You are done!

“On a bad day, there’s always lipstick”

I hope you beauts enjoyed this continuation of my last makeup look! This is perfect for date night or a night out! Be sure to follow my other social media accounts located on my home page! Happy Monday!

Fall Makeup Tutorialย

Fall Makeup Tutorialย

Let the grunge begin! Hello my beauts , welcome to my Channel if you are new ! My names Alyssa and one of my hobbies are doing makeup and sharing my ideas with you beauts ! ย My favourite season is fall mostly because I love pumpkin flavoured anything really! I’m that “ basic bitch” as some may call it, but I don’t mind one bit. ย I am going to be using my Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverlyย Hills for this look, and let me just say, it is is super easy to achieve. ย Let’s get started!

First and for most, I ensure that I have a nice clean face before applying all my face makeup such as my foundation, powder and so forth.

I am then taking the shade, “Antique Bronze” and applying this all over my lid with a small eyeshadow brush, and blending this shade out into my crease as well using a fluffy brush. This is a very pigmented shade, so be sure to blend thoroughly and have a lot of patience.

Yes, you are going to look a bit like a racoon here but I promise you, the finishing look will be worth it! Next, I am going in with the shade “Burnt Orange” and applying this to my crease as well as underneath my lower lash line. ย Then I am going to apply some black liquid liner to my lids, and apply a tiny bit of mascara to my top and bottom lashes. I then applied some false lashes, and voila! Your eyes are ready for that fall weather! I absolutely love this grunge look and it’s perfectly acceptable for this kind of weather. I also applied the shade “Velvet Teddy” onto my lips to tie the look in altogether.

“And all at once, Summer collapsed into Fall…”

I hope you beauts enjoyed this fall makeup look that I have created and try it out for yourselves. Be sure to follow my other social media accounts located on my home page for more blog posts to come in the near future, take care!

“A Pop of Colour”- Spring Time Look

“A Pop of Colour”- Spring Time Look

โ€‹โ€‹
Happy Saturday beauts! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, spring time is here and I literally could not be in a better mood. I absolutely love spring time and already created one spring time makeup look for you beauts. I literally think the more looks the better when it comes to spring, there are so many different looks you can create, I literally get way too stoked for life when it comes to eyeshadow. I came up with this look yesterday, and thought “hey I really like this look, I think I’ll make a blog on it”. So here we are! I absolutely love how subtle this look came out. It is super classy with a pop of coral colour for the lips, so stunning. I don’t know what it is about coral colours, but I absolutely adore them, the colour is flawless. So again, I did not include a full face tutorial, as mentioned before, I particularly use the same products a lot of the time, so did not want to be repeating myself for the 100th time. Shall we get into it?

First, I went in using my Morphe 350 Shimmer Palette, of course, obsessed right now, and applied this beautiful gold shimmer to my entire lid. Yes, I like to mix up the order sometimes when it comes to my crease and lid. Somedays I like to apply my crease last or first, depends on my mood that day and what I think would be easier for me.

I then went in with this light pinky shade and applied this to my crease with a fluffy brush.

(very subtle look right now, and looks so gentle which I adore)

I then am going to go in with this darker pink/orange shade, and apply a small amount underneath my lower lash line to add a pop of colour to my eyes. I then made sure this was blended thoroughly and even smudged it.

I then went in with this light cream shade, and applied this to the inner corners of my eyes to make them appear brighter.

After the shadow, I applied some liquid eyeliner on top of my upper lashes, and also applied my favourite mascara! I did not create a winged effect for this look because I did not want it to be too dramatic, but feel free to add one! After my mascara had dried, I applied some false lashes that I purchased from Shoppers, believe these were called “flirty”.

Lastly, I applied some of my favourite coral lipstick by Katy Perry Covergirl in the shade, “Coral Cat”. This shade is absolutely stunning and I love it because it was so cheap, I am pretty sure under $10.00 which was a steal for how pigmented it is.

And Voila! A super subtle spring makeup look with a gorgeous pop of colour!

“Too glam to give a damn”

Empties/New Beauty Products; March

Empties/New Beauty Products; March

Processed with MOLDIV

Happy sunday beauts! I hope you guys are all having a wonderful weekend so far! My weekend has been great which always puts me in a good mood! I decided to write today’s post on new beauty products that I have purchased for the month of March and instead of making another blog, I decided to mention some empties that I will be repurchasing as well. I always always love reading these kinds of blog posts, I think they are so informative which is awesome, so I thought, “why not do it for you beauts!“, let’s get into it!

New Beauty Products

I am going to mention some of the newer products that I purchased this month. I did not really buy too many products because to be honest, nothing really caught my eye that much. However, the couple products that I purchased I am super happy about and thought I would share with you guys. The first is the picture located at the top. I purchased the new “Cupcake” face mask from Lush. This face mask smells unreal and is to be kept in the fridge. I tend to have combination skin, so I find that this face mask works perfectly when I do have oily skin. I really love how this face mask has ingredients to calm redness, cool those troubled areas, and to deeply cleanse your skin. I really do love this mask and highly recommend trying it out for yourself. I purchased it at Lush for around $11.00.

The second product that I have for you guys is… you guessed it…. the Nicole Guerriero Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I purchased this at Sephora for around $52.00, and highly highly recommend trying it out for yourself. I have been constantly using the same highlighter since forever, it is the Laura Mercier Highlighter and I usually always mention it within my makeup tutorials. I was hesitant to try a new highlighter but can honestly say I am glad that I did! I absolutely love the variety of shades this palette comes with. You get pink shades, coral shades, champagne shades, platinum shades, and brown shades. I focus the brown shades more on contouring and bronzing areas simply because they are a bit darker for a highlighter. I usually go in with my regular bronzer then apply the shimmery Nicole bronzer on top and it looks absolutely flawless. ย You can play around with the shades when it comes to different looks as opposed to just using one highlighter.

(Yes I already got the top of it covered in foundation… leave it up to me)

Hands down I would have to say this is my favourite eyeshadow palette at the moment, it is the Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I was recommended by a friend to try this out and I have to say, it is absolutely flawless. The amount of looks you can create is insane, and there is literally a look with everything. I love how this palette pushed me out of my comfort zone and got me to experiment with new shades and colours. I now wear oranges and purples to work which I never would have done. The colours are extremely pigmented which is wonderful and you can make the looks as subtle or dramatic as you wish. I purchased this at Sephora for $55.00 and highly recommend giving this baby a try!

Empties

So I literally just bought another beauty blender today at Sephora for around $28.00. If you would have told me years ago to go out and purchase this sponge I would have told you that you are out of your mind and I am not purchasing a sponge for $30.00. Guys, I can not live without this now. I have had my old beauty blender for a couple of years now but it was looking pretty beat up not going to lie. I had the black beauty blender but decided to get the pink one just to change things up a bit. I always use my beauty blender when applying my foundation to my face, my concealer and so forth. Even if I am baking, I will use my damp beauty blender to apply the powder under my eyes (works unreal). I for sure think this is my ride or die, I don’t know how I lived without this. If you are hesitant to spend the money on a sponge trust me, it will change your life.

I just recently finished this product and will for sure be buying another one. I loved using my Mac Studio Fix Powder when setting my foundation. This was around $33.00 at the Mac store, but highly worth it in my opinion. I love a powder that is full coverage, just incase I do not feel like wearing foundation a certain day, I can use my powder instead and be ready to go. I love the full coverage and it does not feel heavy on my face at all.

image2 (34)

I absolutely love my L’oreal Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black. I purchased this at Shoppers for around $15.00 but it literally makes my lashes look unreal. I love mascaras where you can actually notice you are wearing mascara, and I love ones that make your lashes look super long. I have naturally long lashes so when this product is applied…wow. I absolutely hands down love this drugstore mascara.

This is hands down my absolute favourite eyelid primer. I have been using this for years now and it has not let me down. It is a yellow shade which makes your eyeshadow just pop and stand out a whole lot better. This is the Kat Von D High Voltage Eye Primer, and I purchased it at Sephora for I believe it was around $22.00. I highly recommend trying this out for yourself if you are looking for a good quality eye shadow primer.

I absolutely love love love this foundation! It is the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation in the shade 2.0. ย I bought this a little while ago and it really has lasted me a long time! I usually only wear this foundation on nights out or when I have a long day ahead of me. This is not an everyday foundation simply because it is so heavy duty. I always make sure after wearing this for a night out, I treat my skin after with a nice mask, just to let it breathe .ย I bought this from Sephora for around $50.00, but highly worth it.

image3 (25)

Yes, this product looks beat up to shit I am aware. But hey, it got some great use out of it! This is the NYX Cosmetics Eyeshadow in the shade Taupe. I think this eyeshadow was under $10.00 which was awesome. I actually use this shadow for filling in the beginning of my brows for the gradient effect. This colour works beautifully and can be used in so many different ways. This is an amazing transitioning colour as well, and is very pigmented.

I hope you beauts enjoyed this quick post on different beauty products that I purchased and products that I will be repurchasing as well. Let me know if you guys have tried any of these products before! I hope you guys have a wonderful week, be sure to subscribe and follow my social media pages:
