Good morning my beautiful and gorgeous souls! I hope everyone is having an absolutely fabulous week so far! It’s a new week, so you know what that means right? It’s time to set yourself up for a positive one, and it’s time to set some goals for yourself! I honestly love sitting down and planning out my week. It really just makes you feel so productive and puts you in a great mood. I have always been a planner for as long as I can remember! I like to have absolutely everything laid out, and stick to a routine…anyone else!? Aside from planning out new goals I want to accomplish throughout the week, I also adore trying new things! I can not wait to share with you beauts what I tried
! I am super excited about this wonderful collaboration, and I am eager to share my experience with you guys! I recently collaborated with a wonderful company called, “Tan on the Run”. I spoke with a beautiful soul, Samantha Milani, in regards to a potential collaboration opportunity and I was ecstatic! Of course I agreed to the collaboration right away, and could not wait to meet this lovely lady and check out her studio in Hamilton Ontario. As you beauts know, I am always in Hamilton as my other half lives there, so I love hearing about local businesses and supporting them! Samantha’s studio is located on James Street North (aka a very pleasant and adorable area, so many cute shops to check out!). I honestly love walking down this street with the boy on a Saturday! So peaceful!
The Studio & Atmosphere
Since I have so so much to chat with you beauts about my amazing experience, let’s first start of by stating a well known fact. Samantha’s studio is by far the cutest thing I have ever SEEN. Literally, everything was so aesthetically pleasing to the eye, I was overwhelmed with excitement when I saw it! She did such a beautiful job designing and decorating her studio! Everything was seriously on point, I mean guys... she painted this garage door in her studio pink. Like, the amount of pictures I would seriously take in there! The absolute cutest. I love when places feel welcoming and bring in so many cozy vibes! This really helps create a warm atmosphere, and right away, I knew I was in the right place! Samantha, you can help decorate my room any day of the week… just saying!

Now I know what you beauts are probably thinking, you want to hear more about the company, am I right? I honestly have never heard of “Tan on the Run” before, but was so fascinated hearing all about the company! What makes this company so unique is that they are actually a mobile airbrush spray tanning service company. You can actually use their services in your own home, office, hotel, you name it! Seriously, how convenient is that! I absolutely adore that! For my experience, I went to her lovely studio and received my spray tan there! Within the company, they use the highest quality exclusive tanning solutions and what I absolutely adore is that their products are vegan, aloe based and Paraben-free! They are also hypoallergenic, customized for all skin tones, last up to 7-10 days, and have anti-cellulite/anti-aging formula in them. I love this because you are inhaling no harsh chemicals whatsoever!
So beauts, I have to admit, I used to be one of those girls that adored tanning beds and literally love cooking my skin. I loved how my skin looked after a nice tan and I truly felt really good about myself. I can proudly say I have stopped using tanning beds, thank goodness, but I do enjoy laying out in the sun or even purchasing tanning lotions from the drugstore. As much as I love using tanning lotions from the store, I always look like a hot streaky mess afterwards, literally am not a pro whatsoever. One of the things that stood out to me about “Tan on the Run”, is that somebody is doing the spray tan for you, in a convenient atmosphere and there are no streaks afterwards! Unreal, I am so down for that. Whether you are looking to prepare for a vacation, to look good for an event you may be attending, or heck even just because you randomly want glowing skin, this is the service for you!
“Bronze is my happy colour…”
So, to be quite honest with you beauts, I had no idea what to wear when receiving the tan! I messaged Samantha asking and she stated it was my choice to be fully nude, partially or have some undergarments on. I chose to keep some undergarments on, so I would be able to show you beauts the tan lines (they are wicked, I was shook!). Even though I was partially naked, Samantha made me feel extremely comfortable in her studio and was such a sweetheart! For me personally, engaging in conversations can be more challenging with my social anxiety getting the better of me. I was so happy that she made the atmosphere so comforting as if we had known each other forever! I love individuals like this.
The Tanning Process
So when I first entered her studio, I went into her back room where everything was all set up. She asked if I wanted to shower within the 4 hours or 8 hours after getting the spray tan. I had plans later that day, so I chose to shower within the 4 hours! I then changed and put on the robe while I waited for her to finish mixing the spray tan. She then got me all prepped and we were then ready to start the tanning process! Since I am a total newbie at this, Samantha was so helpful during the whole process, guiding which poses I needed to do in order for her to get every part of my body sprayed. Along with her guided help and comfortable atmosphere, the whole process was really enjoyable. Having social anxiety can be the biggest downfall for me when it comes to meeting new individuals and having business meetups! She helped so much, and it felt so natural engaging in different conversations while getting the spray tan done! It was around a 20 minute process but it felt like nothing! The tan is cold while getting sprayed but 100% worth it completely!

“Tan on the Run Products”
Afterwards, Samantha explained the after care process and also gifted me a few of their “Tan on the Run” products to try which was SO sweet! I am super excited to try out all the products and share my views on them with you beauts! So far, I have tried out most of the products and I am currently living for them! The first product that I want to share with you guys is this gorgeous “Oh So Raw Soap” which is unscented. What I adore about this product is that it is so natural! When rinsing off after the 4 hours, you want to stay away from harsher soaps such as Dove and Olay. I used this little fella and it was so gentle on my skin. This bar soap has Shea butter in it, and helps to calm irritated skin as well. This soap retails on the website for $15.00.
“Glowing skin is always in”
The second product that I want to share with you beautiful souls is this amazing moisturizer. This is the “Oh So Pure Organic Shea Butter”. This cream is the definition of heaven, hands down. It is so important to keep your skin moisturized constantly after receiving your spray tan, at least twice daily. I have been using this cream and simply can not get enough of it! Absolutely love it. The smell is so amazing as well, literally just want to eat it up! I use this moisturizer in the morning when I wake up, and at nighttime before I go to sleep. This product retails on the website for $20.00.
This next product that I am going to share with you guys is an absolute beauty! I seriously love this thing so much oh my goodness. So I have always adored makeup and experimenting with it. One thing I have not tried yet however is liquid bronzer. I think I was honestly scared to try it! I received the “Oh So 24H Liquid Bronzer + Kabuki Brush (Vegan)”. What I adore about this product is that it’s extremely moisturizing, and it lasts literally all day. See you later powder bronzer, this bad boy is moving in! Simply spray the kabuki brush that it comes with, and apply it like a normal bronzer on your face. It literally is so so simple, and looks absolutely amazing! I was BLOWN away. You can also use this product on your body such as your neck as well! Instant beach babe ready! This product retails for $45.00 on the website, and it is a MUST HAVE.
The next product that I am super eager to try out is the “Oh So Tan Extender + Moisturizer: CoCo Beach”. This product sounds absolutely amazing and helps make your tan last for up to a week with a single application. I have not tried out this product yet as my tan is still fresh, but I am so down to make my tan last for as long as I can! This product goes on evenly, is non-staining and results appear as little as 4 hours afterwards. You want to ensure that you exfoliate beforehand to help prevent uneven tanning. Also be sure to wash your hands really good afterwards to avoid any staining. This product is 100% natural, organic, vegan and also Paraben-free. I love this so much! You can find this product on the website for $20.00.
Lastly, I received the “Oh So Moroccan Exfoliating Glove” which retails online for $10.00. This glove helps with tan removal and is a weekly body scrub. It is suitable for all skin types, and helps remove dead skin cells, blackheads and ingrown hairs. This glove should be replaced every 8-10 uses.
When discussing the before and after process of the spray tan, Samantha was extremely helpful! I was a complete newbie at it, and literally needed a whole lay out with what to do! Before receiving the spray tan, you need to shower, exfoliate and remove body hair 8-24 hours before your appointment. Your skin should be clean and dry before receiving your spray tan. Also be sure not to apply any deodorant, makeup, moisturizer or oils prior to your appointment (Yes I was quite aware I would have smelly pits and me acne would be out for everyone but hey, literally all worth it in the end)! Also be sure to have your hair in a pony tail, away from your face. Remove any jewelry that you may have on. You will not be able to bathe, shower or exercise at least 4-8 hours after your tan. I showered 4 hours after my tan to remove the excess product on you.
